Terrence Winston

Terrence Winston is an Entrepreneur, Community Advocate, Builder, Organizer, Youth Development Specialist, Strategic Planner, trained Peer Mediator and certified Restorative Circle Keeper.  He currently serves as the chairperson for the Coalition for Community Schools Excellence (CCSE). The CCSE is an anti-racist, educational advocacy, program quality assessing and accountability group of 65+ nonprofit organizations supporting the NYC Department of Education's Community Schools Initiative in 267 public schools serving almost 132,000 students across all five boroughs.

Terrence is also the founder and lead consultant of Paradigm Time LLC; a team committed to transforming the thinking, policies and practices of organizations in the public and private sectors using a non-Eurocentric restorative framework. He also supports, as Co-Board Chair, The Restorative Justice Initiative; a nonprofit clearinghouse network in the greater NYC area.

For over 30 years Terrence has proudly resided and invested his efforts in underserved Black and Brown communities struggling to liberate and heal from oppressive belief systems, habits and policies. Whether it's to engage in conflict resolution, mentor youth, listen to neighborhood elders or coach he consistently puts relationships with ALL people first - over tasks and objects - to improve social conditions.

Experience You Can Count On

Paradigm Time LLC is a consulting group committed to transforming learning environments and service organizations.

We do this by way of a Restorative framework informed by a Cultural Axiological analysis. By focusing on deconstructing the paradigms that create the systems of oppression and toxicity that mitigate learning, we seek to restore people’s sense of self worth and humanity.

Once we reclaim our own humanity, we can better recognize the humanity in others.
